By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Leafblade is a web-based tool that converts Markdown text into PDF documents. The Service is free of charge, requires no account, and is provided "as is". It may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate documents containing illegal content
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits
- Overload or abuse the Service through automated requests
To keep the Service available for everyone, the number of conversions per hour and the size of documents and uploads are limited.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of any content (Markdown text, images) you provide to the Service. We do not store your documents. Content is processed ephemerally to generate the PDF and is deleted immediately after conversion.
You are solely responsible for the content you convert. We do not review, monitor, or endorse user content.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided free of charge and "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service
These limitations do not apply to damages caused by intent or gross negligence, or where mandatory law provides otherwise.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes is Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
